Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. Your expertise will help transform spaces, delivering high-quality results that meet client expectations.

Duties

- Measure and prepare surfaces for flooring installation according to blueprints and project plans
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials such as tile, hardwood, laminate, or vinyl
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions to ensure accurate placement
- Lay tiles, hardwood planks, or other flooring materials with precision and attention to detail
- Apply caulking or adhesives as needed to ensure seamless finishes and secure installations
- Perform surface preparation tasks including leveling, sanding, or patching subfloors to create optimal installation conditions




- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship

Requirements

- Proven experience in flooring installation, or related construction work
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, chisels, saws, and trowels
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Background in carpentry or handyman work is highly desirable
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and surface preparation methods
- Construction experience with a focus on precision and safety standards

Pay: $23.06-$35.92 per hour
