Overview

We are looking for a versatile, highly experienced Food and Beverage Server / Bartender to join our team in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant. In this dual-role position, you will seamlessly transition between the dining room and the bar, delivering exceptional guest service, crafting quality cocktails, and providing knowledgeable wine recommendations.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
- Prepare and pour a wide range of beverages, including craft cocktails, draft beer, and wine, leveraging solid wine pairing and mixology knowledge.
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process orders, handle cash/credit transactions, and manage billing.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bar stations and dining sections, strictly adhering to food safety regulations and Smart Serve standards.
- Upsell menu items and provide professional wine and beverage recommendations to enhance guest satisfaction.




- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during peak hours with excellent time management skills.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: MANDATORY 3+ years of proven, hands-on experience working as BOTH a Server and a Bartender in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant. (Applicants without full-service restaurant experience will not be considered).
- Certification: Must hold a valid Ontario Smart Serve certification (Proof required).
- Skills & Knowledge: Highly proficient in cocktail mixology, with a robust, demonstrable foundational knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage service.
- Language Proficiency: Bilingual in English and French is strongly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service mindset, professional presentation, ability to work well under pressure, and strong teamwork abilities.

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 48.0 per week
