Gorge Vale Golf Club is looking to add an experienced Server to our Food & Beverage team.

This position is primarily focused on clubhouse food and beverage service, providing friendly, professional and attentive service to our members and their guests in a private club environment. We are ideally looking for someone available for approximately 3–5 serving shifts per week, with shifts scheduled between 11:30am and 9:00pm. Availability for a mix of weekdays, evenings and weekends is preferred.

As we move into the busier spring and summer golf season, there may be an opportunity for increased hours and a more consistent full-time serving schedule.

Responsibilities include

- Providing full food and beverage table service in our clubhouse lounge and dining areas
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them through the POS system
- Serving beer, wine, cocktails and other beverages
- Processing member charges and other payments
- Providing knowledgeable, friendly and efficient service to members and guests
- Maintaining clean, stocked and organized service areas
- Completing opening and closing duties
- Assisting with tournaments, member events and private functions during scheduled shifts
- Communicating effectively with kitchen and other front-of-house staff to keep service running smoothly
- Maintaining professional service standards in a private club environment

We’re looking for someone who:




- Has previous serving experience in a restaurant, pub, golf club or similar hospitality environment
- Is comfortable managing their own section and working independently when required
- Provides warm, attentive service and enjoys building relationships with regular guests
- Can remain organized and skilled during busy periods
- Is reliable, punctual and works well as part of a team
- Is comfortable serving alcohol and has a valid or is willing to obtain a Serving It Right certificate
- Is available for approximately 3–5 shifts per week
- Has availability between 11:30am and 9:00pm, including some evenings and weekends

Previous experience working in a private club, golf course or member-based environment is an asset but is not required. Experience with Jonas Club Software is also considered an asset.

Wage: $18.25 per hour plus gratuities
