Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Food Counter Attendant to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service while preparing and serving a variety of food items. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring customers enjoy a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and receipt issuance
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and disposal to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels




- Provide prompt and courteous customer service, addressing questions or concerns efficiently

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Experience with food preparation, serving, cashiering, and food industry standards is desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food handling and kitchen work

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
