Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food Prep Person to join our dynamic culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, portioning and preparing menu items as needed You will also be responsible for cleaning your prep area, and an opportunity exists for additional shifts working with the Chef during service.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items with precision and efficiency
- Assist in cooking and food presentation to ensure dishes meet quality standards
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Support the kitchen team in meal preparation during busy service hours
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory levels are monitored regularly
- Provide excellent food service by assisting servers with timely delivery of prepared dishes when needed

Skills





- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related food industry role
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Basic understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles
