What we’re looking for:

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll work alongside our tech lead, UX/UI designers, project managers and data team to take projects from discovery through launch and ongoing support. You’re as comfortable building a polished, accessible front end as you are designing content models,



integrating APIs and managing deployments and you enjoy the variety that comes with agency work.

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain responsive, accessible websites and web applications on both traditional CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal) and headless stacks (Contentful, Next.js, Vercel)
- Design content models and editorial workflows that make sites easy for clients to manage and scale
- Develop custom themes, plugins, modules and reusable components
- Integrate third-party platforms through REST and GraphQL APIs, search, personalization, CRM, donation, forms and analytics tools
- Build to WCAG 2.1 AA and AODA accessibility standards, and deliver bilingual (English/French) sites
- Own performance, technical SEO and Core Web Vitals on the sites you build
- Implement analytics and tracking (GA4, Google Tag Manager) in partnership with our data team
- Manage code in Git, take part in peer code reviews, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and staging/preview environments
- Support hosting, security and maintenance across our client portfolio: updates and patching, backups, monitoring, and incident response
- Scope and estimate development work, contribute to technical sections of proposals and RFP responses, and recommend the right stack for each client
- Explain technical decisions clearly to clients and non-technical teammates, and document your work so others can pick it up




- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to work smarter, and help shape how our team uses them

Skills & Qualifications:

- 4+ years of professional full stack development experience agency or multi-client experience strongly preferred
- Expert in modern HTML, CSS (Sass, Tailwind or similar) and JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+)
- Strong experience with React and Next.js
- Solid PHP skills and hands-on experience building custom WordPress and/or Drupal sites (themes, plugins/modules, Twig)
- Experience with a headless CMS — Contentful strongly preferred
- Comfortable with Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Working knowledge of cloud hosting and deployment (Vercel, AWS), DNS and SSL, and web security best practices (OWASP)
- Practical understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, AODA) and accessibility testing tools
- Experience writing automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) and working in an Agile environment
- A solid grasp of UX principles and the ability to collaborate closely with designers working in Figma
- Appreciation for clean, well-documented code

- Search platforms such as Algolia
- Personalization and experimentation tools (e.g., Ninetailed)
- Donation, CRM or marketing automation platform integrations
- Reporting and dashboards in Looker Studio
