Join Burnaby’s Community Police Office as a full time Coordinator. This integral role centers on volunteer management and crime prevention coordination.

In this position, you'll be responsible for recruiting and mentoring volunteers while implementing crime-related community activities. You’ll maintain comprehensive records, support the RCMP Officer In Charge, and establish connections with various community stakeholders. Your judgement and initiative will be crucial to enhancing office effectiveness while dealing with community issues.

Key Responsibilities:



• Schedule and motivate community volunteers for programs • Implement and coordinate crime prevention activities • Maintain accurate records and reports for operations • Serve as point of contact with community organizations • Provide front counter services for the RCMP

Requirements: • Completed Grade 12 with supplementary volunteer management training • Experience in a police front counter setting preferred • Thorough understanding of department rules and volunteer practices • BC Driver’s Licence required • Ability to obtain Enhanced RCMP Security Clearance
