Retail Meat Cutter

We are looking for an ideal candidate for a Retail Meat Cutting position in our store. We are an independent business that has been catering to Hamilton and the surrounding area for 60 years. We are a full service grocery store and professional meat market/butcher shop.

Responsibilities:

· Working with carcass quarters, hinds, fronts

· Bone, cut, trim and prepare standards cuts of meat

· Setting up counter displays and working directly with customers

· Cutting to customer specifications

Essential Abilities:

· Knife skills

· Ability to lift 50+ lbs

· Ability to use a saws and grinders

· Knowledge of standard meat cuts

· Safe work procedures knowledge

· Customer service skills.

Schedule / Required Availability:

· Full time, open flexible availability Monday through Saturday. Sundays are always off, along with the Sunday, you will be given either a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday off.

· 9 hour shifts scheduled between 6am-6pm Monday to Saturday - Overtime available.
