We are looking for a licensed gas technician to join our fireplace installation team. This opportunity may be a positive fit for a newly licensed G3 technician who wants to build a strong technical foundation, or an experienced G2 or G1 technician who is ready to take on greater responsibility.

You will work alongside experienced installers, receive hands-on training, and have a clear opportunity to progress into a Senior Installer, Lead Installer, or crew leadership position.

What You’ll Do

- Install gas, wood-burning, and electric fireplaces.
- Install venting, chimney components, termination systems, and related materials.
- Assist with fireplace replacements, renovations, and new-construction installations.
- Read and follow manufacturer installation instructions.
- Follow applicable gas codes, building requirements, and safety procedures.
- Inspect materials and equipment before leaving for the jobsite.
- Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Complete pressure tests, operational checks, installation audits, and final inspections.




- Record job notes, photos, measurements, deficiencies, and completed work.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and installation materials.
- Work toward independently leading installations as your skills develop.

Who We’re Looking For

You may be a good fit for this position if you:

- Hold a valid G3, G2, or G1 Gas Technician licence.
- Hold a valid driver’s licence and have a clean driving record.
- Want to build a long-term career in the skilled trades.
- Take pride in producing safe, accurate, and professional work.
- Are dependable and arrive prepared for the day.
- Are comfortable working in customers’ homes and on active construction sites.
- Can follow detailed installation instructions and technical drawings.
- Are willing to learn new fireplace products and installation methods.
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Can safely lift and move fireplace components, tools, and materials.
- Are comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Can complete digital work orders, jobsite photos, and installation documentation.

Previous experience in fireplace installation, HVAC, construction, renovation, carpentry,



roofing, masonry, venting, or appliance installation is considered an asset.

Compensation

CA$50,000–CA$70,000 per year, plus overtime pay.

Starting compensation will be based on:

- Gas licence level.
- Fireplace or HVAC experience.
- Installation knowledge.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to complete jobs accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to lead installations and support junior team members.

Schedule
- 10-hour daytime shifts: Monday - Thursday
- No on-call work.
- Paid overtime when additional hours are required.
