Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, the General Labourer supports daily production operations by performing a variety of tasks, including assembly, shipping and receiving, deburring, and cutting materials. This role is ideal for someone reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Deburr, clean, and prepare machined parts
- Perform assembly tasks as required
- Receive and ship materials and parts
- Cut materials according to drawings and instructions
- Move materials and parts within the facility
- Maintain stock of supplies and packaging materials
- Pick up and deliver parts to suppliers or customers, as required
- Assist with basic building and facility and production equipment maintenance tasks
- Perform general housekeeping duties in office and factory areas, including recycling, garbage removal, and washroom upkeep




- Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Versatile, dependable, and able to multitask
- Proactive with a strong willingness to learn
- Able to work well in a team setting
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift certification considered an asset
