Position Title: General Labourer & Custodian

Wage: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Possibility of 10-hour shifts)

Schedule: 5 to 6 days per week

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and versatile General Labourer / Custodian to maintain our property and assist with daily indoor, outdoor and animal care operations in Six Nations. This position requires someone who thrives in an active, hands-on environment and enjoys working outdoors year-round.

Key Responsibilities

- Property & Lawn Care: Perform routine landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, weeding, and general yard maintenance.
- Seasonal Maintenance: Execute efficient snow removal and salting during winter months to keep the property safe and accessible.
- Animal Care: Daily feeding, watering, and care tracking for dogs and chickens.
- Facility Custody: Maintain cleanliness around the property, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, garbage collection, utilize power tools safely for minor repairs,



and assist with general manual labour tasks as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Minimum of a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Licensing: Valid Ontario G2 Driver’s License with a clean driving record to meet insurable standards.
- Transportation: Must have access to reliable personal transportation to guarantee punctual arrival for all shifts.
- Health & Environment: Must have no allergies to dust, dander, or outdoor elements, and must be completely comfortable interacting closely with dogs and chickens.
- Physical Capability: Ability to safely operate power tools, perform heavy lifting, and comfortably handle outdoor physical labour for 8 to 10 hours per day.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
