PKS Lifts Inc. is a Canadian manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicle lifting equipment. We design, manufacture, and service hydraulic lifting systems for a variety of industrial, automotive, transit, and specialized applications.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our production team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to develop their skills in a manufacturing environment.

Job Summary The General Labourer will assist with day-to-day production and shop activities, including material handling, preparation, grinding, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and other production personnel as required. The General Labourer will be interchangeable between departments based on production needs. The main task is grinding and material preparation.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working around heavy equipment and industrial machinery and will follow all company safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with general shop and production activities.
- Prepare materials and components
- Assist production employees with various tasks as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.




- Follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and machinery.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and follow instructions.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Forklift experience/certification is an asset.

Physical Requirements This position involves regular physical activity, including:

- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Bending, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Working around heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
- Handling materials and components of various sizes and weights.
- Working in a manufacturing/shop environment.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
