Job Overview LA Metal Stamping Co. is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to support our Sheet Metal Stamping and Packaging operations. The successful candidate will assist press operators, perform packaging duties, handle materials, and help maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist press operators with production and setup activities.
- Load and unload raw materials, stamped parts, and finished goods.
- Package parts according to customer specifications and packaging standards.
- Perform sorting, counting, labeling, and visual inspection of parts.
- Assemble boxes, containers, dividers, and packaging materials.
- Ensure products are properly packed to prevent damage during shipment.
- Move materials and containers throughout the plant as required.
- Maintain production records and packaging counts.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Assist with quality inspections and containment activities when required.
- Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions.
- Support other production and warehouse activities as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications




- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is an asset but not required.
- Experience in sheet metal stamping or packaging operations is preferred.
- Ability to use measuring tools and follow work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety conscious.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
