Overview

We are seeking reliable and skilled on-call Maintenance Technicians to support the upkeep of our property. This role is best suited for candidates experienced in general maintenance who can work independently and handle a wide range of repairs.

Duties

- Perform general repairs (faucets, toilets, leaks, minor plumbing)
- Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, etc.
- Installation of fixtures and components (faucets, toilets, cabinets, hardware, etc.)
- Drywall repair, installation, and finishing
- Handling and replacing insulation (PPE provided where required)
- Painting and minor surface repairs
- Door and hardware maintenance (hinges, alignment, adjustments)
- Basic appliance troubleshooting
- Moving and handling furniture or equipment (e.g., beds, fixtures)
- Identify and address maintenance issues before they worsen
- Complete assigned tasks from a structured maintenance list

The above are examples. Candidates should be prepared to perform a wide range of general maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman work
- Comfortable using standard tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site
- Good judgment on when to escalate work to licensed contractors




- Strong communication and prompt response to scheduling messages
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and efficient

Physical Requirements

- Able to safely lift and carry heavy materials (e.g., toilets, water heaters)
- Comfortable performing physical work including lifting, bending, and moving equipment

Availability

This is an on-call position, with work scheduled based on the volume and urgency of maintenance tasks and your submitted availability.

We are looking for candidates with wide availability, as maintenance needs can arise at any time. Flexibility and timely response to scheduling requests are essential.

This role operates on a performance-based system. Work is assigned based on reliability, responsiveness, and quality of work. Solid performers will be prioritized and receive more consistent hours over time.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, responsive, and dependable, with strong communication and the ability to complete tasks efficiently without supervision.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $20.80 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 20.0 per week
