Library provides free access to global climate resources, including articles on climate change, clean energy, biodiversity, and related topics. Designed for non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and libraries, the library supports understanding of urgent environmental challenges such as melting glaciers and wildfires. lanet Watch.

The individual in this role will create, manage, and optimize GoFundMe and similar crowdfunding campaigns to support the Planet Watch Online Library and related initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include drafting compelling campaign narratives, updating donors, tracking campaign performance, and coordinating with the team on outreach strategies. The role also involves identifying grant opportunities, conducting prospect research,



and preparing well-structured grant proposals aligned with Planet Watch’s mission and programs.

The GoFundMe Expert and Grant Writer will collaborate with leadership to develop fundraising plans, maintain accurate records of funding activities, and help build long-term relationships with donors and grant-making organizations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess grant-related skills such as Grant Writing and Proposal Writing.
- Candidates should possess funding management skills such as Grant Administration and Fundraising.
- Experience with crowdfunding platforms (e.g., GoFundMe) and online fundraising strategies is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of or interest in climate change, environmental issues, and non-profit work.
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in communications, non-profit management, fundraising, or a related field is an asset.
