As a Groomer Operator, you’ll be part of the team responsible for getting the mountain ready each day. Working behind the scenes when the hill is closed, you’ll operate grooming equipment to shape, maintain and prepare our terrain, working closely with our Grooming and Snowmaking teams to deliver exceptional snow conditions for our members.

What You’ll Do:

- Operate grooming equipment safely and efficiently across the mountain.
- Groom and prepare ski runs, trails, lift areas and access routes to deliver consistent, high-quality snow surfaces.
- Work closely with other Grooming Operators and Snowmakers to manage snow coverage and changing mountain conditions.
- Identify and correct terrain hazards and areas requiring additional attention.
- Assist the Terrain Park team with the construction and maintenance of park features.
- Complete daily equipment inspections, identify and report maintenance requirements, and perform minor repairs as appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with other mountain operations teams while working around equipment and during hill closures.
- Follow established operating and safety procedures and immediately report hazards, equipment concerns or other safety issues.

What You Bring:

- Previous experience operating grooming equipment.
- Winch Cat and/or Park Groomer experience is a strong asset.
- Strong equipment awareness and a commitment to safe operation.
- Ability to work independently,



make good decisions and adapt to changing snow and weather conditions.
- A team-first attitude and strong communication skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to meet requirements for operating Club vehicles and equipment.
- Availability to work the shifts required for grooming operations, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions and on uneven terrain, and regularly lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 lbs.

Alpine Ski Club is a members’ only club located on the shores of Georgian Bay in the Blue Mountains. The club consists of 36 ski and snowboard trails across 120 skiable acres.
