Guest Experience Host

King of the Sandcastle is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Guest Experience Host to join our team!

We’re creating a fun and welcoming space where kids can dig, build, explore, and play while parents can relax, enjoy a coffee or snack, and spend time together. Our Guest Experience team plays an significant role in making sure every visit is safe, welcoming, and memorable.

This is a paid position with opportunities to learn, take on additional responsibilities, and grow into a leadership role as our business grows.

What You'll Do

- Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude
- Help families understand our facility, play areas, rules, and services
- Check guests in and assist with admissions, bookings, parties, and general inquiries
- Operate our POS system and process transactions accurately
- Take café orders and prepare/serve drinks and simple food items
- Keep the café, guest areas, and play areas clean, organized, and welcoming
- Help monitor the facility and ensure guests are following safety and play rules
- Assist with birthday parties, private events, and other activities
- Answer phone calls, messages, and guest questions professionally
- Help with opening and closing duties
- Work closely with the team to keep daily operations running smoothly
- Respond to guest concerns in a friendly and professional manner
- Pitch in wherever needed — we're a small team, so everyone helps out!

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with children, parents, and adults
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable




- Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
- A good communicator and team player
- Able to stay calm and professional when things get busy
- Comfortable using a POS system and handling payments
- Willing to learn and take initiative
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Experience Previous customer service, hospitality, café, restaurant, or recreation experience is an asset, but not required.

Barista experience is a great bonus, but you don't need to be a trained barista to apply. We are happy to train the right person who has a positive attitude and is willing to learn.
