About the Opportunity

River Valley Specialty Farms is growing, and we are introducing a current Hemp Production Supervisor role to support our expanding operations in Bagot, Manitoba. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing daily hemp processing activities, supporting staff across two shifts, and ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and according to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support production staff across two shifts.
- Execute daily and weekly production schedules.
- Oversee hemp seed cleaning, movement, and bin assignments.
- Stage raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Load finished products for shipping.
- Maintain safe and sanitary production environments.
- Follow GMP, HACCP, SOPs/SSOPs, and Organic Program requirements.
- Complete production forms, cleaning logs, and food safety documentation.
- Use Microsoft 365 for record keeping.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Food Safety, and Maintenance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Spanish-speaking (required)



to support bilingual communication with staff.
- Experience in food/agriculture production is an asset; training provided.
- Ability to lead, coach, and work hands-on with a team.
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting 50 lb bags.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Competent with Microsoft 365.

Schedule & Availability

- Primary shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift.
- On-call and weekend availability during peak periods.
