We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, mathematics, and experience working with children in various educational settings. This role involves providing personalized tutoring sessions to help students enhance their understanding of subjects, improve their academic performance, and develop essential skills for future success.
Responsibilities
- Experienced in teaching calculus in high school and first year University level
- Knowledge of Ontario curriculum
- Ability to develop lesson plans based on student needs and feedback
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree with a major in English or Math related.
- Strong knowledge of English concepts and mathematics.
- Previous tutoring experience or classroom experience working with children is preferred.
- Two years or more of teaching experience preferred.
- Ontario certified teacher preferred.
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.
Job Type: Part time Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
