Position Summary:

Our Brampton Terminal is currently seeking a Highway Dispatcher to join the team!

The purpose of a Highway Dispatcher at Speedy Transport is to ensure efficient and cost-effective highway operations between all Speedy Transport terminals, including domestic and US partners. A successful candidate will ensure that all shipments are matched, manifested, processed and dispatched in a timely manner to uphold our high standards for customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Day

- Monday to Friday 0700hrs – 1630hrs

Position Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day highway operations both domestic and international.
- Process loads to depart and arrive accurately and in a timely manner.
- Consolidate freight to maximize load factor and minimize loads.




- Communicate with clients in a professional manner to meet their needs.

Position Qualifications:

- Previous Dispatch experience, domestic or cross-border, is a solid asset.
- Experience with MS Excel and Outlook is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Warehouse experience is preferred.
- Administration experience with excellent attention to detail is preferred.
- Ability to meet deadlines with high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
