Role Description Math Instructors at Mathnasium – The Math Learning Center guide students through personalized math instruction using the Mathnasium Method™ and materials. Instructors assess student understanding, explain concepts clearly, and support learners as they work through practice problems and activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating sessions, monitoring progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a positive, focused learning environment.

This is an on-site role located in Oakville, ON,



with part-time and full-time opportunities available, requiring consistent availability during after-school hours and some weekends.

Qualifications

- Strong skills and understanding in Mathematics and Mathematics Education.
- Experience as a Qualified Teacher or instructor with effective Lesson Planning abilities.
- Background in Curriculum Development or designing educational materials and learning activities.
- Clear, patient communication skills and the ability to explain math concepts to a wide range of ages and skill levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a learning center setting and to engage students positively.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience, especially in math, is an asset.
- Post-secondary coursework or degree in mathematics, education, or a related field is preferred.
- Availability to work on-site in Oakville, ON during after-school, evening, and weekend hours as needed.
