Role Description
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for administering HR and Health & Safety activities at multiVIEW Locates Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting, employee welfare, training, and health & safety.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the full recruitment processes for all position levels ensuring all applicable standards in hiring are met
- Screen, create interview questions, schedule, and conduct interviews, extend offers and coordinate reference checks Oversee compliance with legal regulations for AODA, ESA, WSIB, MOE, MOL, etc.
- Maintain job descriptions, job evaluation factors, point scales, compensation grids, task assessments, etc.
- Revise and maintain the Corporate Policy Manual as needed
- Revise and maintain the Health, Safety and Environment policy manual as needed
- Lead JHSC activities and compliance
- Track and organize Health and Safety related training activities for employee group.
- Maintain third-party Health and Safety compliance such as ISNetworld
- Manage electronic personnel files and support payroll as required
- Produce and file applicable government compliance reports
- Manage workplace Return to Work policy, cases and sick leaves
- Track, analyze and report on key HR metrics and make recommendations on action, if required
- Other duties as may be required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience
- CHRP or CHRL designation preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Human Resource generalist
- HR experience with multi-site responsibility an asset
- Certified JHSC management member
- Superior presentation, communication, writing skills
- Advanced computer skills required
- Organized and systematic with good attention to detail
- Must have a valid driver’s license to other locations as required
- Accounting Experience an asset
