Insight Global is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join a fast growing Canadian client within the People Operations team on a permanent basis. The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws and legislation, driving efficient HR processes and contributing to a positive and engaged workplace culture. This role requires a highly organized, resourceful problem-solver with a strong judgment, attention to detail, proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with a passion for people.

You will act as a primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries while ensuring payroll compliance with provincial employment standards for the workforce.

Requirements

- 3+ years of progressive HR/People operations experience




- 3+ years hands on experience with payroll administration/processing using Dayforce HCM
- 2+ years experience with Powerpay for payroll
- Working knowledge of payroll-related compliance requirements
- Knowledge of Canadian labor laws, employment standards, and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with employees at all levels
- Experience working in a production facility or retail warehouse is a plus

Vacancy: This posting is for a currently vacant role, and the successful candidate will be hired into an existing open position.

Pay Rate: $75,000-85,000k
