Hubbard Mechanical is a locally owned HVAC-R company. We have been servicing Thunder Bay and the surrounding region for over 25 years. We are dedicated to providing quality products and service to our customers.

We are looking for a full-time HVACR technician to join our team. The ideal candidate would be an individual who is highly motivated with time management and problem-solving skills. A focus on customer service skills is essential.

Responsibilities

- Perform service/maintenance on commercial and residential heating/cooling and refrigeration equipment
- Assist other technicians with servicing and installing commercial and residential HVAC units
- Adaptability to a changing working environment
- Troubleshoot system failures and recommend and/or carry out corrective measures
- Follow all code requirements, safety regulations, and OSHA such as Lock Out/Tag Out Policy; use of protective gear when required
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verballing and in writing
- Be punctual and dependable
- Maintain a clean vehicle in accordance with safety standards




- Adhere to all company HR and OHS policies and procedures
- Perform all job functions in a safe manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health and Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations

Requirements

- G1 or G2 Gas Technician License
- 313A Refrigeration License (or 4th/5th year apprentice)
- Experience with commercial, industrial and residential applications including installations, troubleshooting and repairs
- A current valid Ontario driver’s license
- Must possess current and clean Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must be available for evening and weekends (on call) as required

Pay: $43.84-$62.47 per hour
