Hands of Youth Service Association (HYSA)

Hands of Youth Service Association is looking for motivated volunteers across Canada to support our programs, projects, and community initiatives.

This is a flexible volunteer opportunity for people with different interests, skills, and experience levels. Whether you are interested in tutoring, leadership, marketing, community outreach, events, administration, project coordination, or simply looking to contribute your time and gain volunteer experience, we encourage you to apply.

Opportunities may be fully online, in person, or hybrid, depending on the role, project, and your location.

Responsibilities

Depending on your interests and experience, you may be involved in areas such as:

- Providing tutoring, academic support, or mentorship
- Supporting or leading volunteer teams and projects
- Helping organize community events, workshops, and initiatives
- Assisting with marketing, social media, and content creation
- Supporting community outreach and partnership development
- Helping recruit and onboard new volunteers
- Assisting with administrative tasks, scheduling, records, and reports
- Supporting presentations, workshops, or public speaking activities
- Collecting feedback or data to help evaluate programs
- Helping coordinate projects, timelines, and activities
- Contributing ideas for new programs and community initiatives

You are not expected to participate in every area. Volunteer responsibilities will be matched as much as possible with your interests, skills, availability, and goals. Who Can Apply?

Flexible Volunteer Opportunities There is no single type of HYSA volunteer.

Some volunteers may tutor students regularly, while others may work on events, marketing, outreach, administration, projects, or leadership initiatives.
