Job Overview

IQC inspector inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests.

Duties

- Performs inspections of incoming materials including electronics assemblies from conformal coating and In-Circuit-Test (ICT) as per IPC-A-610 standards
- Reads and follows manufacturing documents
- Updates manufacturing records
- Reports defects and Non-conforming materials (NCM)
- Upholds 5S standard for continuous improvement
- Able to interact with other cross functional teams
- Follows Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safe handling practice
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision in a team environment
- Must adheres to company guidelines/policies/safety
- Reports any safety concerns to direct superior or member of the Heath and Safety committee
- Performs other duties as required

- Ability to read manufacturing documentations (drawings and BOMs).
- Skills in statistical process control (SPC), lean manufacturing and 5S (an asset).

Qualifications & Education

- Minimum 2 years hands-on experienced in SMT (surface mount technology) process in the field of electronics manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with SMT, PTH, soldering, inspection and test.
- High school dipolma or electronic technologies.
- IPC-A-610 certificiton, ISO, ESD handling, Health and Safety and WHMIS.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
