WHAT WILL YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES BE?





- Analyze and interpret documents required for the production phase of construction projects.
- Work closely with Technical Coordinators to research and propose technical solutions for each project, in accordance with established standards.
- Prepare shop drawings for the production plant (production release) using Inventor.
- Update drawing elements, including elevations, details and anchoring.
- Finalize shop drawings, including anchors, frames, glazing, panels, spandrels, purlins, etc.
- Accurately verify the quantities of products required to complete the projects under your responsibility, including glass, aluminum, etc.
- Prepare, as needed, the documents required for production release, such as work orders, cutting sheets, etc.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments, including Planning, Production, Procurement, and others.

General Skills

Qualifications and Requirements

- DEP in Industrial Drafting, DEC in Architectural Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Opéra software is an asset.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Ability to meet work deadlines and project schedules.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and thorough. We are looking for someone who pays close attention to detail!
