Role Description The Industrial Operations Manager is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Oshawa Metropolitan Area. This role oversees daily production operations within the dental lab, ensuring workflows run efficiently, quality standards are met, and orders are delivered on time.

Responsibilities include managing and coaching production teams, monitoring capacity and throughput, optimizing processes, and coordinating with technical and administrative staff to align operations with customer requirements.

The Industrial Operations

Manager will analyze performance metrics, implement continuous improvement initiatives, manage equipment and materials planning, and help integrate new technologies into production.



The role also includes maintaining safety and regulatory compliance, supporting cross-functional communication, and contributing to strategic operational planning.

- Candidates should possess strong operations management and production planning skills, including workflow optimization and capacity management.
- Candidates should possess skills in process improvement and quality assurance, such as experience with lean methodologies, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement practices.
- Candidates should possess people leadership and team development skills, including coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in data-driven decision-making and operational metrics reporting.
- Candidates should possess organizational and project management skills, including prioritization, time management, and coordination of multiple concurrent orders.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or dental/medical device production is strongly beneficial.
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in operations management, industrial engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory or dental production environments, health and safety regulations, and basic ERP or production management systems is an asset.
