Key Responsibilities

Promote Hatch’s Industrial Water services across the Industrial Water Sector.

Mentor and develop junior engineers within the Industrial Water team.

Lead and contribute to engineering studies, designs, reports, and presentations.

Prepare proposals, and client communications.

Ensure quality assurance and control throughout project execution.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Explore and implement cutting-edge water management solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

15+ years of experience in Industrial Water within Oil Sands, Oil & Gas

Demonstrated project management and leadership experience on large, multidisciplinary projects.





Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)

Extensive experience in oil sands water management, including water sourcing, recycle water systems, process-affected water, and regulatory compliance.

Strong experience in tailings and tailings water management, including tailings dewatering, water recovery, reclaim water systems, water balance development, and integration of water management strategies into mine planning and operations.

Strong knowledge of design management, and project execution.

Recognized within the industrial water sector for technical leadership and industry engagement.

Experience interfacing with operations, environmental, geotechnical, and tailings engineering teams to develop integrated water management solutions.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients and senior stakeholders.

Committed to innovation, continuous improvement, and the application of emerging technologies.

Passionate about mentoring, technical development, and knowledge sharing across multidisciplinary teams.
