Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insulation + Drywall Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing insulation materials and drywall in new construction and renovation projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. Your hands-on skills will help create comfortable, energy-productive spaces while supporting the overall progress of our projects.

Responsibilities

- Measure, cut, and install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam board, or spray foam according to project specifications
- Hang, tape, mud, and finish drywall panels to achieve smooth, professional surfaces ready for painting or finishing
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Apply caulking around windows, doors, and joints to seal gaps and improve energy efficiency
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to framing, trimming, or other structural components as needed
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing materials and disposing of debris regularly




- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently throughout each task

Skills

- Construction experience with insulation and drywall installation preferred
- Knowledge of blueprint reading to understand project specifications
- Strong carpentry skills including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials accurately
- Experience with construction painting and caulking techniques is a plus
- Handyman experience demonstrating versatility in various trades is advantageous
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
