Location: Mucci Farms Ltd., Kingsville, Ontario

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday through Saturday (6 days per week)

Position Summary

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment throughout the facility, including office spaces, washrooms, common areas and greenhouse operations. This role plays a key part in supporting workplace cleanliness, food safety standards, and overall employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities

- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain cleanliness in office areas, including floors, carpets, desks, cabinets, and fixtures.
- Clean and polish office windows, door windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Clean, sanitize, and disinfect washrooms, including floors, counters, sinks, faucets, toilets, fixtures, doors, and stall handles.
- Refill and maintain paper towel dispensers, toilet paper dispensers, soap dispensers, and disinfectant stations throughout the facility.
- Empty and properly dispose of waste and recycling from offices, warehouse areas, and common spaces.
- Clean and sanitize drinking fountains and hydration stations.
- Regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, door plates, faucets, dispenser handles, telephones, desktops, and shared workstations.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and lunchroom areas, including sinks, countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, tables, and chairs.
- Sweep and maintain cafeteria and employee eating areas.
- Maintain an organized and clean storage room for janitorial supplies and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and promptly report shortages to the supervisor.
- Complete and maintain cleaning logs and sanitation records in accordance with company procedures.
- Report any facility damage, maintenance concerns, unsafe conditions, or vandalism to management.




- Perform cleaning and sanitation duties on production lines in accordance with company and food safety standards.
- Perform cleaning duties within greenhouse facilities as assigned.
- Follow all company health and safety policies, sanitation procedures, and food safety requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools.
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled setting of approximately 13°C (55°F).

The Rate of Pay for this position is $18.00/hr
