Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Millwright to work on maintenance and installation activities in a busy industrial shop in the Camrose. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance skills, with the ability to work within a team safely effectively. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery, ensuring optimal operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties

- Work within the company safety program, creating a culture of safety throughout the crew.

- Perform routine inspections, repairs, installations and preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.

- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs on programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Air Cooled Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Turbines, and other industrial equipment.

- Conduct welding, mechanical alignments, and installations as needed to support client operations.





- Maintain compliance with legislative safety standards.

- Assist in training team members and apprentices on technical tasks and safety procedures to promote a knowledgeable workforce.

Qualifications

- Journeyman Certification and proven experience as a Millwright (Industrial Mechanic).

- Experience in the installation and repair of rotating equipment.

- Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.

- Experience working with industrial equipment such as pumps, conveyors, air cooled heat exchangers, gearboxes, motors, and other machinery components.

- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately.

- Robust analysis skills for diagnosing complex equipment problems quickly.

- Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and documentation.
