Sturgeon Rewind in Fort Saskatchewan (20 minutes to Edmonton) requires an experienced Millwright, we are a 40 year old business with vast experience and tooling to provide our services in the industrial and commercial industries. We are looking for a Millwright for our shop & field services division however training if required will be made available to grow on the rebuild and repair of electric motors, generators, transformers, controllers and related electro-mechanical equipment used in commercial, industrial and institutional establishments.

Our Millwrights regularly

- remove and replace shafts, bearings, commutators and other components,



referring to blueprints or service manuals as required,
- perform vibration analysis, alignments and dynamic balancing

- balance armatures or rotors, weld and braze or solder electrical connections, and align and adjust parts to close tolerances to reassemble items.

Experience:
- Apprentice Millwright (2nd year or 3 year)

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)

Location:
- Edmonton, AB (Preferred)

Licence: Apprentice Millwright with active blue book up to date.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
