Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Orangeville, ON for a Junior Estimator specializing in civil construction. The Jr. Estimator will be responsible for performing quantity take-offs, preparing cost estimates, and managing project budgets.
Key responsibilities include analyzing project specifications, preparing tenders, and maintaining communication with vendors, contractors, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive bidding.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs
- Strong skills in Cost Management and Budgeting
- Excellent Communication and collaboration abilities
- Detail-oriented and capable of working in a energetic, team-focused environment
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- A diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in high voltage or civil construction projects is an asset
