We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Jr. Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Responsibilities

- Assist in supervising daily food preparation and cooking activities to ensure consistency and quality.
- Support the implementation of food safety and handling procedures in compliance with health regulations.
- Lead by example in food presentation, cleanliness, and organization within the kitchen.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
- Manage kitchen operations during shifts, including coordinating food service and maintaining efficiency.
- Oversee food inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize waste.




- Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Supervising experience or prior leadership roles in a kitchen environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, handling procedures, and sanitation practices.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
- Familiarity with restaurant management operations including inventory control and quality assurance.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Additional skills such as bartending or serving experience are a plus but not required.
