The Junior Account Executive, Carrier & Wholesale supports the growth and management of relationships with telecommunications carriers, wholesalers, IT service providers, and telecom resellers. This role works closely with senior sales team members to identify opportunities, support customer needs, maintain account information, and contribute to revenue growth through exceptional customer service and sales support activities. This position is an excellent opportunity for an early-career sales qualified interested in the telecommunications industry.

What You'll Do

Account Support

- Support the management of assigned carrier and wholesale customer accounts.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to understand their needs and ensure a positive experience.
- Assist with customer inquiries, service requests, and issue resolution by coordinating with internal teams.

Sales Development

- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through prospecting and market research.
- Support revenue growth initiatives within existing and prospective accounts.
- Assist in achieving individual and team sales targets.

Proposal & Contract Support

- Prepare sales proposals, pricing requests,



presentations, and customer documentation.
- Assist in the coordination of contract renewals and sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and activities within CRM systems.

Product & Market Knowledge

- Develop a working knowledge of Valley Fiber's network, products, and wholesale service offerings.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.
- Effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers and prospects.

Collaboration

- Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and customer experience teams to support customer requirements.
- Escalate customer concerns as appropriate and follow through to resolution.
- Share customer feedback and market intelligence with internal stakeholders.

Professional Development

- Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities alongside senior team members.
- Continuously develop sales, product, and industry knowledge.

What You Bring:

- 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, account coordination, or business development.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated with a desire to build a career in sales and telecommunications.
