Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will support the accounting department by assisting with daily bookkeeping tasks, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. Duties

- Assist with daily bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to ensure data accuracy
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements for management review
- Help with payroll processing and related compliance tasks
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly




- Assist in auditing processes by preparing documentation and supporting audit requests

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of accounting principles including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving

Pay: $25.26-$28.47 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
