Who we’re looking for:

A reliable, hard-working, and enthusiastic Junior Process Engineer or Chemical Engineer to join our growing team. Reporting to the Chief Science Officer, this role will assist in overseeing, assessing, and optimizing existing processes and workflows.

Your responsibilities:

As a member of the Engineering Team, your primary responsibilities include:

- Review equipment specifications with the Process Engineer and source viable vendors for the equipment.
- Assist the Process Engineer with plant layout / design in AutoCAD, Inventor, Plant 3D, and/or SoldWorks.
- Assist the Process Engineer with Piping and Instrumentation diagrams in AutoCAD.
- Assess compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
- Provide thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
- Conduct risk assessments and communicate findings and proposals to upper management.
- Run pilot batches of the product.
- Assess the critical parameters during each batch process and document the data.
- Track metrics to identify areas for improvement, monitor upgrades, and report to upper management.
- Work with equipment suppliers, contractors and consultants to produce quotes, and procure equipment, materials and services.




- Participate in our scale-up engineering initiative in Saskatchewan from time to time to gain ‘hands-on’ experience with our process and gain familiarization with the proper use of our equipment.

You’ll be a outstanding match if you have these skills & experience:

- You have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least one (1) year of experience in process, mechanical or industrial engineering, or related field.
- You have experience working with AutoCAD, Inventor, Plant 3D, and/or SoldWorks.
- You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- You show initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented workplace
- You have excellent documentation and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail
- You can successfully juggle multiple tasks and have outstanding time management skills
- You are accountable, reliable, punctual, and resilient, with an unwavering work ethic

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
