Role Description:

As Miss To Mrs™ continues to grow, we are searching for a creative and detail driven candidate to join our Product Development Team as a Jr.Product Designer. You will be responsible for researching trends, developing creative product and packaging concepts. You will collaborate with the team to bring designs from initial concept through to final development. This role reports to our Head of Product Development.

Main Responsibilities:

- Research, collect, and propose new product and packaging design concepts
- Research and review market and consumer trends to help with design direction
- Work with PD team to design proposals that include multiple design options across product categories and packaging
- Create development materials including development sheets, tech packs, artwork files, and packaging files
- Update and maintain PD assets such as inserts and graphic material
- Create and present themed mood boards for box products
- Collaborate with PD team to refine design and product assortment of current boxes
- Collaborate closely with Sourcing to ensure products are developed to MTM standards and to resolve any issues throughout the development process
- Work with PD team to review samples for accuracy, quality, and design alignment
- Provide updates or revision notes on products to Sourcing




- Coordinate sample shipments to vendors as needed
- Create packing instructions for the warehouse
- Help maintain the working environment by participating in PD room clean-up and organization days
- Organize and label samples and swatches
- Attend and participate in presentations for product development and design
- Attend trade shows and assist in collecting and researching new products, vendors, and costing.

Requirements:

- 2–3 years of experience in product development, packaging design, graphic design, or a related field
- Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Product Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Strong understanding of packaging design, print production, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to research and identify consumer, market, product, packaging, and design trends and translate insights into product concepts
- Attention to detail with the ability to review samples for design accuracy, quality and specifications

Skills & Experience:

- Experience creating packaging artwork, product graphics, inserts, and other print-ready files
- Experience developing and maintaining tech packs, development sheets, artwork files, and other product development documentation
- Experience creating mood boards, design presentations, and visual concepts to communicate creative direction

Salary & Working Hours:

- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm EST
- Salary Range $56k - $62k

Pay: $56,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
