Become the Labour Relations Coordinator at Kativik Ilisarniliriniq and take charge of essential HR functions. Your expertise with collective agreements will shape key workplace initiatives. In this role, reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, you’ll apply your knowledge of labour laws and collective bargaining to support the school board’s operational goals.
Key activities include managing grievance documents, representing the Board in committee meetings, and mentoring staff to foster a team-oriented work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret collective agreements for diverse staff groups
- Advise on policies, bylaws, and labour laws
- Document and manage grievance and arbitration files
- Represent the Board at Labour Relations Committee reviews
- Supervise employees and manage responsibilities effectively Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or relevant experience in HR
- Five years of experience in relevant positions
- Fluency in two of three official KI languages
- Strong organizational and management skills
