At MANTL, we deliver quality products and service to customers across the oil and gas industry. We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Labourer / Shop Hand to join our Lloydminster team.

This entry-level role includes shop duties and hands-on work assembling, preparing, and testing MANTL’s Progressing Cavity Pump (PCP) products.

Day-to-day work includes production support, shipping and receiving, inventory, deliveries, material handling, and general shop support.

Oilfield, manufacturing, or shop experience is an asset, but we’re willing to train someone reliable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.

What You'll Do

Your responsibilities will be a mix of manufacturing support and general shop duties, including:

- Assisting with the assembly of PC Pumps and related products
- Learning MANTL's PC Pump products, manufacturing processes, and testing procedures
- Assisting with product testing, preparation, and basic manufacturing tasks
- Using hand tools and shop equipment safely
- Loading, unloading, moving, and organizing products, materials, and equipment
- Assisting with shipping and receiving
- Picking and preparing products, parts, and materials
- Helping manage and track inventory
- Picking up and delivering PC Pumps, parts, and materials between Lloydminster and other MANTL locations
- Keeping shop, work, and storage areas clean and organized
- Supporting technicians and other team members with day-to-day shop activities
- Participating in MANTL's Safety and Quality programs
- Assisting with other manufacturing, labour, and shop duties as required

- Is reliable, punctual, and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Is comfortable with physical labour and working on their feet
- Takes pride in doing quality work
- Is willing to learn new equipment, products, and processes
- Can follow instructions and work safely




- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Can stay organized while handling different tasks throughout the day
- Is comfortable working in a manufacturing and oilfield shop environment

Qualifications

- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position

Assets, but not required:

- Previous manufacturing, labour, mechanical, shop, or oilfield experience
- Experience with shipping, receiving, or inventory
- Experience pulling a trailer
- Forklift or material-handling experience
- Mechanical aptitude or experience using hand and power tools

Don't have all the experience? That's okay. We're looking for someone with a robust work ethic, good attitude, and willingness to learn. Training on MANTL's PC Pump products, assembly, and testing processes will be provided.

Opportunity to Grow

This position is designed to provide exposure to both general manufacturing operations and technical pump work.

As you gain experience, you'll have opportunities to learn more about PC Pump assembly, testing, manufacturing processes, and other technical areas of the business.

After your first 3 months, you'll be eligible for a performance review where your responsibilities, development, and potential advancement can be discussed.

Work Environment

This position is based in our Lloydminster manufacturing facility. You'll work in a hands-on environment that includes manufacturing, assembly, product testing, material handling, shipping and receiving, inventory, and general shop work.

The role involves regular physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, and moving materials and equipment.

Schedule

- Permanent, full-time position
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on operational needs

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
