Job Title: Laundry Room Attendant

Job Summary: Sorts Linens, Towels and all other items and folds in a timely manner

Job Duties: Laundry Attendants perform multiple tasks ranging from washing and folding laundry items to operating commercial laundry and steam cleaning equipment. Some main Laundry Attendant job duties and responsibilities include:

- Sorting linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size and material
- Wrapping laundry items for pickup or delivery to customers and hospitality guests
- Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols
- Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment
- Unloading laundry from commercial dryers
- Stocking laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener
- Creating laundry tags with identifiable customer information
- Creating invoices for laundry orders
- Cleaning public areas
- Stripping rooms
- making beds





Qualifications:

- Basic Knowledge of general cleaning Principles, use of chemicals products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head, bending, and stooping to perform cleaning tasks.
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment up to 100 lbs
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: From $19.75 per hour
