We have an opening for a litigation lawyer, full-time, in-office, permanent position (not hybrid) at Juzkiw Law PC, a boutique litigation and Family law firm. We are looking for a Lawyer with an excellent academic record, civil litigation experience in a fast paced team and commitment to exceeding client expectations.

We are interested in a service oriented and responsive Lawyer who is able to handle a broad range of complex files. Civil litigation and Family Law experience and skills is desired. They successful candidate will be self-motivated, independent, and comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment and able to manage a robust workload.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their situation, defining their needs, and determining a proper strategy and course of action
- Completing files from first contact with client to resolution of the matter
- Prepare legal documents, such as correspondence, motions, pleadings, briefs, applications, factums, claims, and other court documents
- Mediate, negotiate, arbitrate, litigate, and argue motions on behalf of clients during legal proceedings in court
- Supervise tasks and work collaboratively with support staff

Qualifications and Skills:

- 2+ years post call experience as a Litigator




- Call to the Bar in Ontario and in valuable standing with LSO and excellent academic credentials
- The ability to multi-task
- Drive to provide exceptional client service and deliver results though powerful legal solutions
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful legal proceedings
- Self-starter, independent, highly-motivated, and resourcefulness and a strategic mindset to complex problem solving
- Excellent oral and written advocacy and good communication skills
- Empathy, compassion, and a team oriented approach
- Entrepreneurial spirt with a proven track record in business development and client relationship building and networking
- Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines

Compensation will be based upon experience.
