Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly skilled and reliable Carpenter, licensed or with significant provable experience (Red Seal certification is an asset). This position will take pride in their craft and embrace the full scope of construction work. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform framing, finishing, concrete/cement tasks, and contribute to renovations and residential buildings across the Waterloo Region.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform tasks related to residential renovations/construction
- Execute rough and finish carpentry, including framing, millwork, trim, and structural installations
- Install interior and exterior finishes (e.g., siding, drywall, flooring, doors, cabinetry)
- Erect and dismantle forms, panels, scaffolding, ramps, shoring, and barricades as required
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete for footings, foundations, sidewalks, retaining walls, and slabs
- Support other general construction activities such as demolition, tiling, painting, and insulation
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents accurately
- Maintain organized and clean job sites, ensuring safety standards are upheld




- Safely and efficiently operate assigned power tools and equipment following project requirements and safety standards.
- Work with attention to detail, passion for quality and pride in the work you do
- Collaborate closely with other crew members and supervisors

Physical Requirements

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (eavy materials regularly)
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management

Qualifications & Skills Required:

- Carpentry License or minimum 5+ years of proven construction experience (Red Seal General Carpentry Certification as an asset)
- Proficiency with framing, finish carpentry, concrete work, and jobsite tools
- Familiarity with construction safety protocols
- Experience in residential renovation and light commercial construction
- Valid driver's license and access to transportation

Work Environment

- Outdoor, physical work at various job sites
- Work in loud, dusty, and possibly moldy environments
- The office is based in Current Hamburg, but the Job Site requires travel across Ontario (willing to travel)
