Are you an experienced installer who takes pride in quality workmanship and leading successful projects? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Installer to oversee the installation of windows, doors, and siding on residential and commercial projects throughout the Halifax area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who values safety, customer satisfaction, and delivering exceptional results.

What You'll Do

- Lead and coordinate installation crews on windows, doors, and siding projects.
- Perform and oversee installations to ensure quality workmanship.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Train, mentor, and support installers and apprentices.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and health and safety requirements.
- Coordinate materials, tools, and daily work activities.
- Conduct quality inspections and resolve installation issues as they arise.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, contractors, and project teams.

What We're Looking For

- Strong knowledge of hand tools, caulking techniques, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and carpentry skills.
- Familiarity with restoration processes, construction painting and flooring installation




- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and translate them into precise on-site work.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining safety standards.
- Good organization, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to safely carry heavy materials, lift and move heavy windows and doors, stand for extended periods, climb ladders or scaffolding as needed, and perform physically active work.
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid G-Class driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred for travel between job sites

Schedule

- Full time
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional overtime as required

Pay: $34.00 per hour
