Lead Quality Engineering – Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Quality Engineering professional who can establish and improve quality practices across up-to-date digital products. This position requires someone who can work beyond traditional functional testing and contribute across application, service, data, and integration layers.

What You’ll Work On

- Establish quality strategies throughout the product lifecycle, from planning and development through deployment.
- Validate digital applications across browser-based platforms, mobile solutions, services, APIs, databases, and connected systems.
- Develop practical test automation solutions and integrate them into engineering delivery pipelines.
- Apply Generative AI, LLM-based tools, coding assistants, and agent-driven techniques to accelerate testing, debugging, test creation, and analysis.
- Validate data using SQL and investigate issues involving data movement, processing, and system-to-system integrations.
- Analyze end-to-end business workflows and ensure information flows correctly between dependent applications and services.
- Lead defect investigation, risk identification, quality reviews, and production-readiness activities.




- Collaborate with developers, product owners, architects, data teams, and other engineering groups to resolve quality challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and help establish consistent QE practices across distributed teams.

Core Experience

- 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Test Automation.
- Strong understanding of digital commerce, retail applications, or similarly complex customer-facing platforms.
- Practical experience testing multiple layers, including UI, mobile, APIs/services, databases, and integrations.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or comparable technologies.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering, LLM applications, GenAI tools, and emerging agent-based testing approaches.
- Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and modern data technologies.
- Strong SQL and data-validation capabilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and communicate effectively with engineering and business stakeholders.
