Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP is currently seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to work with our Business Group in the Toronto office. This position will appeal to candidates who enjoy a busy and challenging position in an office with a great culture. The primary responsibilities of the position are outlined below:You will be focusing on:Manage lawyers' calendars, email inboxes, appointments, and meeting schedulesCoordinate calls, meetings, and other business-related activitiesMaintain electronic files, including file organization and bring-forward systemsMonitor and respond to time-sensitive matters, exercising sound judgment and initiative when lawyers are travelling or unavailableCoordinate business travel arrangements, including itineraries and supporting materialsAssist with billing, expense processing, and monthly reportingEdit, format, proofread, and revise legal and business documents, correspondence, agreements, reports, and presentationsOpen, maintain, and close client files in accordance with firm proceduresProvide administrative and operational support as assigned and assist others as requiredCollaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless support and exceptional client serviceWhat you bring to the role:A minimum of five years' experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within a Business Law practice, supporting Corporate, Commercial, and/or Mergers & Acquisitions mattersA Legal Assistant, Law Clerk, or Paralegal diploma, which would be considered an assetExcellent organizational, time management,
