DC Mechanical is currently recruiting for a Licensed Sheet Metal Worker (308A) to join our team based out of Dorchester ON. You will work on diverse construction projects, transforming blueprints and schematics into durable, high-quality metal structures.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and install sheet metal components.
- Use hand tools such as snips, hammers, drills, and measuring devices to cut, shape, and assemble metal sheets and parts.
- Install ductwork, ventilation systems, roofing components, and other sheet metal structures on construction sites.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
- Collaboration with other tradespeople on site.

Requirements

- Licensed 308A Sheet Metal Worker Certificate




- Proven experience with hand tools used in sheet metal work and general construction tasks.
- Construction experience preferred with a focus on sheet metal fabrication or installation.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ability to perform exact measurements and calculations.
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Valid Driver’s Licence
