Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Cook a variety of menu items with precision, speed, and consistency to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food handling procedures, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation




- Collaborate with serving staff to ensure smooth communication between kitchen and front-of-house operations

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues and serving guests
- Basic understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles is a plus
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
