Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting beverages, offering product recommendations and upselling where appropriate
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts
- Conduct product demos and educate customers on new or featured items to boost sales and enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain proper merchandising standards by organizing shelves, restocking products, and ensuring attractive displays
- Manage inventory levels through regular stock checks, product rotation, and reporting low stock items
- Uphold store policies regarding age verification and responsible alcohol sales to ensure compliance with legal regulations




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting remote inquiries
- Utilize organizational skills to keep the store clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times

Experience

- Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in beverage or specialty retail environments
- Demonstrated technical sales experience with product demos or explaining features to customers is a plus
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math for cash handling is essential
- Solid communication skills coupled with excellent time management will help you succeed in this fast-paced role
- Experience in merchandising, upselling techniques, and customer service will give you an edge in delivering exceptional shopping experiences
- Prior knowledge of alcohol regulations or experience in technical sales related to beverages is advantageous
